Inter-American policy proposals

Please read the Organization of American States’ Commission of Women’s report: “COVID-19 in Women´s Lives: Reasons to Recognize Differential Impacts” available at http://www.oas.org/es/cim/docs/ArgumentarioCOVID19-EN.pdf (Links to an external site.) .  As you read,  keep in mind that the target audience is nearly the entire Western Hemisphere.   Consider which policy recommendations are most applicable to the United States, and if any are particularly feasible in terms of passing legislation at national or local levels.  In the discussion below, please write 2 or 3 sentences on a policy proposal you find particularly compelling.  Your contribution can be on a policy proposal new to the thread, or it can shed additional light on a proposal a classmate has already highlighted.
