Objective Assignment Instructions
Use Secrets of Dynamic Communication, The Bible Story Handbook, and SCORRE Lesson Worksheet 2 to establish an objective, proposition, response, and key word for each of the 5 potential lessons you are developing in this course.
Note: The Walton & Walton “Selected Readings” for this module/week are determined by the 5 passages you have chosen as the basis for your SCORRE assignments.
Step 1: Read and study through the passages of Scripture that relate to each of your 5 selections. You are encouraged to record further details on each passage of Scripture as you methodically study the biblical text.
Step 2: Gather the provided template worksheet, your previous material on subject and central theme, and the textbook Secrets of Dynamic Communication. Use these resources to complete the following:
- Copy the subject and central theme to SCORRE Lesson Worksheet 2.
- Establish the objective, proposition, response, and key word for each of your 5 lessons.
Each completed template worksheet must demonstrate your understanding of how the biblical text connects to the subject and central theme as well as the objective, proposition, response, and key word. Additionally, there must be strong evidence that each of these components will allow you to speak on the passage with clarity and common sense.
This assignment is due by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday of Module/Week 2.
